BRIDAL TRIAL TIPS
Trials take place at our stylish studio in Burton on Trent during daylight hours. Why? Because natural light gives you the most accurate look at how your makeup will shine on your wedding day.

We suggest getting your bridal trial booked about 4 to 8 weeks before your big day. Mid week appointments are available all year round however Saturday bridal trial appointments will be available during two specific periods: from January to March and again from October to November.
​
We understand that weekdays can be a bit tricky for some of you. If a Saturday appointment is a must-have, no worries! Just plan ahead and snag your spot during these months. This way, we can make sure your experience with us is as convenient as possible.

Your trial helps us figure out how to make your makeup last from 'I do' to 'last dance.' We can make any needed tweaks after the trial for your big day so you stay looking flawless.
​
And if you're thinking about having your hair trial on the same date, we've got your back! Our studio has a hair station, perfect for mobile hairdressers to work their magic.
Feel free to bring up to two family members or friends to your trial. Their cheers and support can make your experience even more fabulous but we do request no children under 10.

THE DAY OF YOUR TRIAL
CLOTHES
Ditch the dark clothing and polo neck tops. Instead, go for something light and airy or pick a color that matches your wedding dress. If you can, try to match the neckline style too. It'll help us create the perfect look for your big day!
HAIR
It's a great idea to wear your hair up or bring a clip or hair tie to keep your hair out of your face during the trial.
If you'd like your wedding hair stylist to join us in the studio on the same day as your hair trial, just give us a shout. We're here to make things as convenient as possible for you!
SKIN
Make sure to have a fresh face – clean and exfoliated. Pay special attention to removing any leftover makeup, especially mascara.
INSPO
Bring along inspiration photos, and feel free to share images of your everyday makeup look. This helps us understand your style and preferences better.
Establish a skincare routine that works for you. Chatting with a skin specialist and getting regular facials will greatly help! Try and drink plenty of water, this will help plump up the skin and any fine lines.
AFTER YOUR TRIAL
Rock that stunning makeup for as long as you can! Many of our lovely clients feel so fabulous after their trials that they want to hit the town and flaunt their beautiful look. It's the perfect excuse to plan a fun get-together with friends – how about arranging drinks or dinner? This way, you can make the most of your gorgeous makeup and have a memorable time doing it
